a worser bucket hat
Hi. I made a completely unwearable hat this weekend. I used A Better Bucket Hat pattern, and due to a combination of not paying attention, and probably using the wrong needle size, and misunderstanding the phrase "brim's edge," I'm going to have to rip this one. The yarn will be eventually be knit up into something else. The Malabrigo is just too pretty, but I decided that I'm not really a bucket hat girl, anyway.Hopefully next time I'll have something better for Show and Tell.

awww, my head is too big for bucket hats. the yarn is super pretty though... i'm interested in seeing what you use it for instead.

It looks good up until the part where it goes all..... gnomey. Couldn't you rip out and do rapid decreases on the crown? Should fix it somewhat :)
oh no! well, at least it's only a weekend's knitting.. not like you finished a sweater only to realise it doesn't fit you in the least, right? On the bright side, that's a totally adorable picture! And I'm sure you will make something lovely out of that yarn, it realy is very pretty! :)

haha that cracks me up! i knit a hat that turned out just like yours and when i put it on my friends called me "condom head". it now lies pathetic and dejected at the bottom of a drawer somewhere. at least you'll rip and still have beautiful to use!!
