not much

I've made some (boring) progress on the Summertime Tunic. The knitting is going just fine, but I do think I'll wind up trying to dye it. It's a cute pattern and I've chosen a rather uncute color.

I'm still deciding what to do about the Gedifra pattern. I haven't been able to muster the strength to actually swatch the entire 42 stitch, 99 row cable chart...if you can imagine that.

And I'm definitely ripping the Ruffled Surplice. Ugh. I hope the yarn will one day become Girlfriend's Swing Coat Sweater, a gift for a friend's daughter.

In non-knitting news, my Etsy shop was featured on Anything Indie! :)

Actually I really like the colour of your top, & better than the yellow of your ruffled surplice. To me the Summertime tunic is coppery and warm. Just me.

I agree with the other comment - I love this color and while I can see your hesitation, I think it's going to look great!

Your tunic is looking great so far. And the colour on that picture looks great to me! I hope you will get used to it? (Perhaps you can get the right feeling wearing it with the right colours? I mean, with brown for example it would be reduced and more earthy while it would become more shining with bright greens!?!)

at least there is the option of dying - it will make it look totally different. sounds like the sweater mojo just hasn't been with you....poor surplice...

Ripping the Ruffled Surplice: Frogging is always the worst- but at least you're being honest about not ever going to wear it. Such a great yarn will find a happy life as something else, something that you'll love.

I agree with the others that the color looks great in the photo. Question is, does it wear well on you? I'm sorry about your ruffled surplice (do I vaguely remember you saying in an old post that the color was not quite what you expected?). I have frogged a lot lately, so I empathize.

Exciting news about the feature! color is such a personal thing. You have to love it or else it just isn't yours. That's probably why all I have is mauve....

Consensus! I love the color. Much more than my Summertime Tunic color actually. We're at the same section I think. Keep it up!
