not much
I've made some (boring) progress on the Summertime Tunic. The knitting is going just fine, but I do think I'll wind up trying to dye it. It's a cute pattern and I've chosen a rather uncute color.
I'm still deciding what to do about the Gedifra pattern. I haven't been able to muster the strength to actually swatch the entire 42 stitch, 99 row cable chart...if you can imagine that.
And I'm definitely ripping the Ruffled Surplice. Ugh. I hope the yarn will one day become Girlfriend's Swing Coat Sweater, a gift for a friend's daughter.

Actually I really like the colour of your top, & better than the yellow of your ruffled surplice. To me the Summertime tunic is coppery and warm. Just me.

I agree with the other comment - I love this color and while I can see your hesitation, I think it's going to look great!
Your tunic is looking great so far. And the colour on that picture looks great to me! I hope you will get used to it? (Perhaps you can get the right feeling wearing it with the right colours? I mean, with brown for example it would be reduced and more earthy while it would become more shining with bright greens!?!)
The tunic is coming along nicely! Congrats on the listing on Anything Indie.
at least there is the option of dying - it will make it look totally different. sounds like the sweater mojo just hasn't been with you....poor surplice...
Ripping the Ruffled Surplice: Frogging is always the worst- but at least you're being honest about not ever going to wear it. Such a great yarn will find a happy life as something else, something that you'll love.
I agree with the others that the color looks great in the photo. Question is, does it wear well on you? I'm sorry about your ruffled surplice (do I vaguely remember you saying in an old post that the color was not quite what you expected?). I have frogged a lot lately, so I empathize.
I am a big fan of Girlfriend's Swing Coat Sweater I have made 4 of them! Sorry but I like the color of the summertime tunic- Have fun.
Exciting news about the feature! color is such a personal thing. You have to love it or else it just isn't yours. That's probably why all I have is mauve....
Consensus! I love the color. Much more than my Summertime Tunic color actually. We're at the same section I think. Keep it up!
if i were a little girl, i'd die for that swing coat.
congrats on the feature- but stop making me look at your shop. i want everything.
Your tunic is coming along so beautifully - and I for one think the color is absolutely gorgeous, really! Looking forward to seeing more of it!
I actually like the color--but I am an orange fan myself.
Excited to see how it turns out...
i like that color! something about it is very late summer to me. congrats on the mention -- that's a great website.
