I just noticed that Knits and Pieces turned one year old on Sunday! Although I started this blog as a way to keep track of my own knitting progress, I am so appreciative of the support and assistance I have received through the comments as well as how it has allowed me to become a more active member of the online knitting community. Knitters are just the best. :)

i am pretty sure a blogiversary is almost like a real birthday, and therefore grounds for buying shoes. or more yarn. depends on your m.o. i would probably do both.
re: the ruffled surplice, so you have a shot of the original that i missed? i agree with the others re: the sleeve ruffle. it seems the shoulders are very wide. also, a larger belt, I think, would make a large difference in the look.
